Most Recent Customer ReviewsDate : 2010-03-17 Summary : Good price, works fine. Great for all the different sized memory cards. Windows 7 recognized it right away. Decent price. Picture shows silver USB extension cord, however, the one in the packaging I received is black - not a big deal.
Date : 2010-03-15 Summary : Works as expected; design is clunky I got this reader to work with my new SDHC cards, which it does just fine. My only complaint is that the unit is poorly designed. To use it, you have to slide the body forward in the shell, and then back when you use it. There's really no advantage to this design, and it means that the entire unit is 25% larger than it needs to be. I'd like to bust the outer shell off, but that would a one-way mod, and I'm not quite annoyed enough to do that yet.
Date : 2010-03-11 Summary : Great little device!! I needed something to view my Mom's camera card on. This card reader works great and it is very easy to use!! Would recommend it to anyone!!
Date : 2010-03-10 Summary : does what it's made to do No complaints here. This item functions as intended. It's fast at uploading photos from my CF card, and I like that it has other options so I can get photos from a friend off their SD or miniSD card. I really like the retractable feature (I feel like it keeps the contacts in good shape to be able to pull them into the unit), though using it feels a bit flimsy (pressing the button and pulling in the unit feels kind of like something's going to break, but nothing has). I also like that, though a longer USB cable is included, the default setup is a tiny cable even shorter than the USB input, which makes me feel more secure about it staying near my laptop and not getting dragged around by a pet or kid.
Date : 2010-03-09 Summary : so far so good so far so good. I've used memory stick pro and SD cards and they worked perfectly.
